Number and Letter Cakes

Number cakes are a perfect selection for birthdays and anniversaries, with the cakes being tailored to suit almost any theme or indeed multiple themes. 

Essentially, they are a totally bespoke cake, and whilst they get a showing in our bespoke gallery, we feel that they need a place of their own too.

Because they are hand carved, they can be made to pretty much any size, so you're not governed by the restraints that a number tin gives you.

Because they can be tricky to cut, we recommend that you don't have them any smaller than 8" x 6" (the sizes at the widest points).

If you're having a fondant covered cake, like in the picture shown, we don't cut out the holes in the middle of the numbers (like on the number 8), we just make a small indent so that you receive one big cake, meaning more for your money.

If you are having a 'naked' layer cake on the other hand, we cut the middles out as a way to make the cake prettier to look at. 

Working on the same principle as the number cakes, these are baked and then hand carved to the specific shape and the specific size that you require. The same minimum size applies.

Letter cakes are actually great for any occasion, including memorials, where you can have the initial of the person whose life you are celebrating and then design the cake with all the specific details and interests that represented that person. 

Prices for number and letter cakes start from:

£80 for a single number/letter

£140 for double numbers/letters
