If you are looking to purchase a wedding cake, we would like to congratulate you on your engagement.
Planning your wedding will be an exciting time, but can also be a stressful one. Here at Dumbledart's, we realise this and would like to make your wedding cake plans as stress and hassle free as possible.
We are only too happy to discuss your styling requirements, colours, finish and flowers. We can produce buttercream or fondant covered cakes, as well as wedding cupcakes and fondant topped biscuits for wedding favours too.
Where to start...?
Simply contact us via the form below, letting us know your requirements for your cake, such as portion quantity, shape, theme/style etc and also your ideal budget. You can even add images of styles that you have seen that you would like us to use as inspiration for your completed cake. We will then come back to you and let you know we have received your enquiry* and may follow up with more questions, if needed, to be able to provide you with an accurate quote. If required, delivery and set up will be quoted separately.
You're happy with your quote, so what happens next...?
Once you have decided to order your cake for your special day from Dumbledart's, you will be required to pay a 50% retainer fee which secures your booking, you can then be assured that we will get to work on planning your required cake. We will discuss flavours with you if you haven't already let us know, though we are happy if you wanted to take a little time to decide this. Wedding taster cupcake boxes can be made up by request, for an additional fee, which will depend on the number of cupcakes you choose. The remaining balance of your wedding cake is then due 6 weeks before your required date.
What happens on the big day...?
If you have chosen for us to deliver and set up your wedding cake, we will take the details from you for the contact name of your wedding co-ordinator, as well as the time of your wedding. We then liaise with the venue to arrange the time for us to arrive at the venue on the day, taking this off your hands so that it is one less thing for you to worry about. We can also liaise with other suppliers, such as florists, if needed.

As with all of our bespoke cakes, the prices for our wedding cakes are based on two important things; size and level of detail included in the design.
The size of your wedding cake will be calculated by how many portions that you require it to provide. We can then offer you the best options to fit the sizing requirements.
The details on your cake vary with the complexity of the design, the style of flowers you require; whether they be real, silk or sugar, or whether you would like figures on the cake and any toppers that you may want. The choices are endless.
Because of all of the factors involved, the prices for our wedding cakes are as bespoke as the cakes themselves. Should you have a specific budget to work to, please do let us know this and we will then do our best to work within those parameters to ensure that you have a beautiful cake.

We have a number of cake stands that we are able to hire out to you for your wedding cake to be displayed on (such as the wooden stand with lights in, in the image opposite). Images of these can be supplied to you, along with the prices for hiring them. All of our stands require a cash deposit fee to be paid prior to the wedding day, which then gets returned to you upon the return of the stand in its original condition and by the agreed date.
